Football Recap: Orangewood Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Orangewood Christian lost against Cambridge Christian back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rams came up short against the Lancers, falling 28-7. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tre Roach threw for 30 yards and one touchdown. Grayson Hilinski was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Jack Benson rushed for 47 yards.

Cambridge Christian found their leader in sophomore Elijah LeGrande, who rushed for 179 yards and one score while picking up 10.5 yards per carry. Those 179 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for LeGrande. Cooper Griffey got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Orangewood Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Cambridge Christian, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Orangewood Christian will face off against Lake Highland Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cambridge Christian, they will take on Sarasota Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
