Basketball Recap: East Nicolaus Takes a Loss

East Nicolaus lost against Durham on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The matchup between the East Nicolaus Spartans and the Durham Trojans didn't end well, with the East Nicolaus Spartans falling 49-32. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1041st, while the Trojans are ranked 357th).

East Nicolaus' loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Durham, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

East Nicolaus will square off against Winters at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Durham has already played their next game (against Colusa), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
