Baseball Recap: Capital Comes Up Short

Capital fell victim to Gig Harbor and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Tides. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since May 7, 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Capital and nudges their season record down to 13-5. As for Gig Harbor, they pushed their record up to 19-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Capital will square off against Bellarmine Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gig Harbor, they will take on Fife at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
