Purvis had already won ten in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They blew past the Petal Panthers 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tornadoes also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

While Purvis might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Petal scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-18, 25-23.

Purvis' win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Petal, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Looking ahead, Purvis is taking a road trip to challenge George County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Petal, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Poplarville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
