Softball Recap: Corona Gets the Win

While Corona put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Santiago. The Panthers came out on top against the Sharks by a score of 4-0. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Sharks on April 10th, they had to take a 12-4 defeat.

Corona's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-7 and their overall record up to 13-10. As for Santiago, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Corona will face off against rival Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Santiago is set to challenge their familiar foe King at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
