Baseball Recap: North Hills Takes a Loss

North Hills fell victim to North Allegheny and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 8-0 to the Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 9-3 loss on Wednesday.

This is the second loss in a row for North Hills and nudges their season record down to 7-12. As for North Allegheny, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

North Hills and North Allegheny should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. North Hills (ranked 267th) will meet Penn Hills (ranked 545th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Allegheny will challenge Upper St. Clair at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (45 vs. 141).
