Volleyball Recap: Foothill's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Foothill waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Sacramento Dragons as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Foothill never let Sacramento on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-22, 25-14.

Foothill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ashton Yang out in front who had 12 assists and eight digs. Those 12 assists gave Yang a new career-high.

Foothill pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Sacramento, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Foothill will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on West Campus at 6:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for Sacramento, they will take on Wood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
