While Northern Bedford County's victory against North Star wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Cougars 27-26. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Northern Bedford County found their leader in sophomore Trace Baker, who rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 60 yards and a pair of TDs. Carter Love got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
