Basketball Recap: Gladewater Takes a Loss

Gladewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight loss dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Rusk Raiders. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-41 back in December of 2024.

Gladewater's defeat dropped their record down to 0-18. As for West Rusk, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Troup the next time they take the court. Gladewater will host Troup at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while West Rusk will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on January 28th.
