After flying high against Lake Charles College Prep last Thursday, St. Louis Catholic came back down to earth. St. Louis Catholic fell just short of the South Beauregard Knights by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Saints' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

St. Louis Catholic's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-16. As for South Beauregard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. St. Louis Catholic is set to square off against their familiar foe Jennings at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, South Beauregard will challenge rival Westlake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
