Buckhannon-Upshur and East Fairmont are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers will head out to square off against the East Fairmont Bees at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Buckhannon-Upshur was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-42 to Robert C. Byrd.

Meanwhile, East Fairmont suffered their closest defeat since December 19, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of North Marion by a score of 52-49.

East Fairmont has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Buckhannon-Upshur skirted past East Fairmont 60-58 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Buckhannon-Upshur since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
