Softball Recap: Trinity Presbyterian Falls Short of Alabama Christian Academy in the Playoffs

Trinity Presbyterian and Alabama Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Trinity Presbyterian had to settle for second. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-2 defeat on Monday.

Trinity Presbyterian has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Alabama Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 18-18.

Trinity Presbyterian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Alabama Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 17-2 defeat against Saint James on the 29th.
