Football Recap: Clear Lake Falls Short of Nevada in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Clear Lake couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 24-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nevada Cubs on Friday. The game marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clear Lake fell to 10-1. As for Nevada, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Clear Lake nor Nevada have any future games scheduled.
