Volleyball Recap: University City Takes a Loss

University City and Francis Parker squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but University City had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Lancers. The Centurions just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 19-25, 25-22.

Despite the loss, University City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Reagan Rowe had 16 digs and ten assists. Those 16 digs set a new season-high mark for Rowe.

University City's defeat dropped their record down to 17-20. As for Francis Parker, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11.

University City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Francis Parker, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Mission Vista on the 31st.
