Basketball Game Preview: Ridgeview Wolfpack vs. Abingdon Falcons

Ridgeview is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Abingdon is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Ridgeview Wolfpack will welcome the Abingdon Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, everything went Ridgeview's way against Union as Ridgeview made off with a 58-37 victory. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Abingdon sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 68-65 win over Magna Vista on Thursday. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by exactly three points.

Abingdon's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Ridgeview, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Ridgeview was able to grind out a solid victory over Abingdon when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 63-53. Does Ridgeview have another victory up their sleeve, or will Abingdon turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
