Basketball Recap: Bruton Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bruton can now relate to. They fell 53-43 to the John Marshall Justices on Thursday.

Despite the loss, Bruton still got an impressive performance from Annalise Wood, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 16 boards. Wood continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Zymeia Taliaferro, who posted six points and eight rebounds.

Bruton's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for John Marshall, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season.
