Basketball Game Preview: Beaver Dam Golden Beavers vs. Oshkosh North Spartans

The Beaver Dam Golden Beavers are taking a road trip to square off against the Oshkosh North Spartans at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Last Saturday, Beaver Dam made easy work of Baraboo and carried off a 76-52 win.

Meanwhile, Oshkosh North blew past Oshkosh West, posting an 86-50 victory. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 275th), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Beaver Dam is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points per game. As for Oshkosh North, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Beaver Dam didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Oshkosh North when the teams last played back in December of 2020, but they still walked away with a 79-75 victory. Will Beaver Dam repeat their success, or does Oshkosh North have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
