Recap: Pine Grove Cardinals vs. Panther Valley Panthers
The Pine Grove Cardinals suffered their biggest defeat since December 14, 2023 on Monday. They were beaten by Panther Valley 72-43. Pine Grove has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Chase Weaver continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Panther Valley, scoring 18 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Stephen Hood, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Pine Grove's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Panther Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing North Schuylkill the next time they take the court. Pine Grove will host North Schuylkill at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Panther Valley will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
