Soccer Game Preview: Goldsboro vs. Spring Creek + How To Watch

Goldsboro is 0-10 against Spring Creek since September of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Gators at 6:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Goldsboro duked it out with James Kenan on Wednesday. The Cougars lost 5-0 to the Tigers. The shutout was out of character for Goldsboro seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Spring Creek's offense. They came up short against Wallace-Rose Hill on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Spring Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 287th, while Wallace-Rose Hill are ranked 118th).

Spring Creek's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-9. As for Goldsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
