Basketball Recap: Whitewater Comes Up Short

Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Mary Persons Bulldogs 61-26.

Whitewater's record is now 1-10. As for Mary Persons, they pushed their record up to 4-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Whitewater will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Clayton on December 28th. Mary Persons will take on Spalding in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mary Persons is facing Spalding at the right time seeing as Spalding is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
