Basketball Recap: Ellendale Comes Up Short

Ellendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 62-35 defeat at the hands of the Maple River Eagles.

Ellendale's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Maple River, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-19.

Ellendale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maple River, they will be playing at home against Martin County West at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
