Basketball Recap: Juda Takes a Loss

Juda lost against Barneveld back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Juda Panthers were beaten by the Barneveld Eagles 87-47. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 463rd, while the Eagles are ranked 203rd).

Juda dropped their record down to 2-12 with the loss, which was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Barneveld, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Juda will be playing at home against Albany at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Juda is facing Albany at the right time seeing as Albany is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Barneveld, they will head out on the road to face off against Black Hawk at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Barneveld will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Black Hawk will have lost 15 straight heading into Thursday's game.
