Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clay County). They managed a 73-69 win over the Jellico Blue Devils on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Blue Devils two weeks ago, they had to take a 68-66 defeat.

Jellico lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Seth Brandenburg, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 10 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Vann, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 20 points.

Clay County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Jellico, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Clay County has already played their next matchup (against Friendship Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jellico also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Greenback.
