Sumter won the last time they faced Spring Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Sumter Gamecocks secured a 53-48 W over the Spring Valley Vikings.

Sumter's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-8. As for Spring Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Sumter will welcome Lugoff-Elgin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lugoff-Elgin knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Sumter likes a good challenge. As for Spring Valley, they will venture away from home to challenge Blythewood at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
