Basketball Recap: Fenton Takes a Loss

Fenton was the 69-46 winner over Flushing when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fenton Tigers took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flushing Raiders on Friday.

Fenton's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Flushing, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Fenton and Flushing could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Fenton (ranked 527th) will meet Notre Dame Prep (ranked 130th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Flushing will take on Kearsley at 7:15 p.m. on January 24th down 153 places (286 vs. 133).
