Volleyball Recap: Jayhawk Linn Comes Up Short

Jayhawk Linn lost against Frontenac back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Jayhawks fell 2-0 to the Raiders. The Jayhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14.

Leading Frontenac to victory were Lakyn Sullivan and Laynee Shay. Sullivan had eight digs, while Shay had eight digs and two assists. That's the most assists Shay has posted over her last five matches.

Jayhawk Linn's loss dropped their record down to 13-8-2. As for Frontenac, their record now sits at 16-11-1.

Coming up, Jayhawk Linn will take on St. Paul on Tuesday. As for Frontenac, they will face off against Galena at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
