River Valley (Mohave Valley, Ariz.) jumped out to an early lead against
Mohave (Bullhead City, Ariz.) and never looked back on the way to a 21-7 victory on Saturday.
The Dust Devils put up two points in the opening frame. River Valley scored on a safety.
After taking the lead on a safety in the first quarter, RV led 9-7 at the half.
The Mohave Valley school expanded its lead to eight points entering the fourth quarter. The Dust Devils scored once in the quarter on a touchdown pass by

Brady Viles.
Mohave's only touchdown came on a 78-yard kick return by
John Lobato in the second quarter.
A 34-21 River Valley victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Mohave, who notched a 33-26 victory over Sierra Linda in its previous outing.
Mohave (1-1) will play a non-conference game against Lake Havasu next week, while River Valley (2-0) will take on Lee Williams also in a non-conference game.
