On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Dublin Gaels beat the Monterey Trail Mustangs 54-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Gaels.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Derron White, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 19 points in addition to five assists and five boards. The match was White's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devaughn Dorrough, who posted nine points along with eight rebounds and five blocks.

Dublin's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Monterey Trail, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.

Dublin has already played their next game, a 53-49 loss against De La Salle on the 21st. As for Monterey Trail, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-53 victory against Redwood on the 20th.
