Volleyball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss

Waterloo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tharptown Wildcats. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Tharptown, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.

Waterloo has already played their next game (against Cherokee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Tharptown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Belgreen on the 13th.
