Football Game Preview: Hillside Comets vs. Roselle Rams

Hillside has gone 9-1 against Roselle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Comets will head out on the road to challenge the Rams at 1:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Friday, Hillside ended up a good deal behind Somerville and lost 21-7. The contest marked the Comets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Roselle had to suffer through a 41-6 loss at the hands of New Providence. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost four in a row.

Hillside now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Roselle, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Hillside against Roselle in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 46-12 win. In that game, the Comets amassed a halftime lead of 33-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
