Football Recap: Louise Skates Past Woodsboro with Ease + How To Watch

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Louise). They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 45-8 win over the Woodsboro Eagles. With the Hornets ahead 29-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Conner Gonzalez had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 162 yards and four TDs on only seven carries. Eric Melchor was another key player, rushing for 66 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Louise was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 313 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Louise's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Woodsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-4.
