Volleyball Recap: Montgomery Central Takes a Loss

Montgomery Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ledford Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Montgomery Central was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Montgomery Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Ledford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.

Montgomery Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Lexington Senior on the 2nd. As for Ledford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Randleman on the 7th.
