Volleyball Recap: Southeast Bulloch Takes a Loss

Southeast Bulloch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Ware County Gators. The Yellow Jackets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21.

Aubrey Williams paced Southeast Bulloch's offense, picking up four kills. Williams got some help from Allie Crabb and her seven assists. Harlyn Robinson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ware County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jharyn Bess, who had six aces.

Southeast Bulloch's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Southeast Bulloch is taking a road trip to square off against Bradwell Institute at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ware County, they will be playing at home against Brooks County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
