Baseball Recap: East Peoria Beats Deshler for Their Third Straight Win

East Peoria put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Deshler Tigers as East Peoria made off with a 16-3 victory. Fans of the Raiders have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Auggie Lohnes was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Mason Watson was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

East Peoria's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Deshler, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-6.

Coming up, East Peoria will face off against Paintsville at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Deshler, they are taking a road trip to take on DeMatha at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
