Softball Recap: Fivay Comes Up Short

Fivay lost against Zephyrhills back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Falcons came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 18-1. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fivay saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Janie Badu, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Fivay's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Zephyrhills, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14-1.

While Fivay had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
