Baseball Recap: Rockwood Takes a Loss

Rockwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 back in March.

Rockwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they moved to 9-6-1 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockwood will welcome Bledsoe County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they will host Oliver Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
