Softball Recap: Fuquay - Varina Comes Up Short

If Fuquay - Varina was riding high fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Clayton two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bengals came up short against the Corinth Holders Pirates on Tuesday, falling 16-5. The Bengals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pirates earlier this season, when they won 6-2.
