Baseball Recap: Monsignor Pace Falls Short of Miami Springs in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Monsignor Pace can now relate to. They came up short against the Miami Springs Golden Hawks on Monday, falling 9-2. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Spartans couldn't push the score so high this time.

Rudy Marichal made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Monsignor Pace's loss dropped their record down to 17-12. As for Miami Springs, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 23-3.

While Monsignor Pace had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
