Volleyball Recap: Windermere Falls Short Against Ranked Horizon

On Saturday, Windermere faced Horizon in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Windermere Wolverines fell just short of the Horizon Hawks by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost seven in a row.

Elijah Ihnenfeld paced Windermere's offense, picking up nine kills. Ihnenfeld got some help from Bruno Perez and his 23 assists.

Windermere now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Horizon, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Windermere wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Boone on the 11th. As for Horizon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Apopka on the 11th.
