Baseball Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

Memorial managed to slip by Burleson the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Memorial Warriors came up short against the Burleson Elks on Saturday, falling 8-1. The Warriors just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Burleson, their record now sits at 5-2-1.

Coming up, Memorial will square off against Red Oak at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Burleson, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wall at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
