Volleyball Recap: West Greene Extends Winning Streak to Three

West Greene had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cherokee Chiefs. The Buffaloes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Chiefs, too.

West Greene walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-20.

Cassidy Hill paced West Greene's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hill got some help from Aleea Aiken and her 14 assists. Hill was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

West Greene's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Cherokee, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

Coming up, West Greene will challenge North Greene at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Buffaloes' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Cherokee, they will be playing at home against Volunteer at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
