Baseball Recap: Arapahoe Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Grandview

Arapahoe faced Grandview in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Warriors fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 last Tuesday.

Carter Landen made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

Arapahoe's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Grandview, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3.

Coincidentally, Arapahoe and Grandview will both be playing Smoky Hill the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Buffaloes at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wolves will head out to face them at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
