Tilden is 3-0 against ACERO Garcia since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Tilden Blue Devils will welcome the ACERO Garcia Patriots at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Tilden and four for ACERO Garcia.

Last Thursday, Tilden came up short against Instituto Health Sciences and fell 44-34.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 84-41, which was the final score in ACERO Garcia's tilt against Gage Park on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 729th, while the Fighting Owls are ranked 353rd).

Tilden's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for ACERO Garcia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Tilden took their win against ACERO Garcia in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 by a conclusive 51-31. Will Tilden repeat their success, or does ACERO Garcia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
