Baseball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

Greenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Farmersville Farmers. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Greenville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Farmersville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville will take on Creekview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Greenville has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Farmersville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Edgewood at 3:00 p.m. on March 8th.
