On Friday, Brandon faced Ocean Springs in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Brandon Bulldogs never let the Ocean Springs Greyhounds onto the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won ten games by more than three goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Ocean Springs with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from MK Gunter (2), Carleigh King (2), Olivia Wilkins, and Avery Rogers.

The victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five matchups. As for Ocean Springs, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-3 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brandon will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Petal at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Ocean Springs also won't see the pitch for a while: their next contest is against Sacred Heart at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
