The win made it two in a row for Hobgood Charter and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Columbia, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-6.
