Hobgood Charter was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They skirted past the Columbia Wildcats 12-10. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-6 last Tuesday.

Hobgood Charter got a massive performance out of CARLOS MARTINEZ, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that MARTINEZ hit this season. LANDON DAVIS was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Hobgood Charter and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Columbia, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-6.
