Basketball Game Preview: Le Roy Oatkan Knights vs. Spencerport Rangers

The Le Roy Oatkan Knights just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Spencerport Rangers at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Le Roy has ten straight victories, Spencerport has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Le Roy earned a 50-40 win over Haverling. Given the Oatkan Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Rams are ranked 522nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Spencerport was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 59-53 to Irondequoit.

Le Roy pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Spencerport, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
