Soccer Game Preview: St. Ignatius vs. Brecksville-Broadview Heights

The St. Ignatius Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

On Wednesday, neither St. Ignatius nor St. Edward could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Brecksville-Broadview Heights kept a clean sheet against Solon on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Comets. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Brecksville-Broadview Heights' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Solon are ranked 59th).

Brecksville-Broadview Heights' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. St. Ignatius' draw gives them a new season record of 11-0-2.
