Baseball Recap: Hamilton Southeastern Find Success

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Hamilton Southeastern nor Fishers made it on the board until the ninth inning. The Royals narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Tigers 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Royals: when they faced off against the Tigers on Thursday, they had to take a 4-1 loss.

Dylan Cope tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over 8.1 innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
