Softball Recap: New Canaan Beats Glastonbury for Their Fourth Straight Win

While New Canaan put up plenty of runs on Saturday, the same can't be said for Glastonbury. The Rams were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Guardians. That 16 run margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

The win keeps New Canaan at an undefeated 4-0. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average this season. As for Glastonbury, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Canaan will welcome Norwalk at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
